We're still waiting for our little girl to make her appearance!
I just love this coat. It makes me look like I have more of a tummy than I do. I wonder if anyone is ever told she looks just right for how far along she is. I doubt it. I think we're either told we're too small or huge. I have always been told I'm not showing much, and I love that when I wear this coat, no one says a word.

Miller Farms
We went to Miller Farms today with our Imagination Station (a big local play group) friends. Since there has already been a freeze this season, the selection was not what it would have been a few weeks ago, but we still filled four bags with veggies and had three hours of fun!

Goats- the only animals we saw- she was fascinated
We got pretty muddy, but it was so worth it!
I tried taking the kernels off and popping them in a regular popper. No luck. I tried putting a cob in the microwave. It actually worked, but the cob ended up burning, so we had one tiny bowl of popcorn and I gave up.
Kathryn helped me wash all the carrots. We now have two bags full in the freezer. We also had homemade mashed potatoes this week. Where have those been all my life? SO GOOD.

Jumpin'
Kathryn just filled her second and final potty sticker chart. She has been out of diapers and pull-ups for a few weeks now (joy!!!), and we wanted to celebrate yet again, so we went to Jumpin'. She kept running around to different bouncy castles telling us, "come on, let's celebrate!" Indeed.

Last weekend we went to the pumpkin patch with Grandma Mater. For Kathryn, this is always such a thrill! She has been talking about going to the pumpkin patch since last Halloween. It's hard to get her to sit still for pictures because of all the excitement, but you can get the idea! Her favorites are always the strange or tiny ones. We left with several, and she still carries them around, decorates and redecorates them, brings them into the bath and in the car, and the cutest little one even helps her fall asleep at night along with her stuffed animals and soft blanket.
One pumpkin had the stem break off after we bought it, and this was just devastating... but we told her she could help fix it, and after playing some "no smiles", pretty soon she felt better.
