Here we are at the Greeley Train Museum. We were all impressed! There are so many details it would take several hours to really experience and appreciate everything. Kathryn really seemed to enjoy it, even though it was not hands-on. I'm sure we'll be back soon if she has anything to say about it.

The Thomas track!

Congraduations, gradulate!

Big congrats to Lindsey on her high school graduation! I was too busy gorging myself with the amazing hot wings Ralph made to get a picture of her, but we are very proud.

We brought Kathryn to the ceremony. She did great! Thank you, snack-ems and the Packers frog we borrowed from Great Grandma.

A couple of random ones I just like...

I must interject...
I'm being eaten by a boa constrictor...

A day in the park

Let's go... do something else.

This was a perfectly windy day so I have no excuse. The whole thing was pretty anti-climactic!

Even in these photos, she actually did a lot better than I did...

Mommy Time

Bops and Auntie Jannie have been *wonderful* helpers coming up regularly and playing with Kathryn just for fun and also so that I can do things I ordinarily can't (in this case, blog!). It is such a huge help and an opportunity for me to actually miss her, so I am excited to jump back into the day-to-day.

Here is one quick highlight... the tower of Kapla.
Introducing Jonathan and Samantha's new dog, Tucker...
Welcome to the family!Should I be concerned that she likes being in the kennel and playing with his dog toys?

A few early signs:

-You are exceptionally tired, but know you should probably give up your morning coffee for a while.

-You have a heightened sense of smell (remarkable since you're so congested), but you can't scoop the cat litter, even if you are home with it's inescapable odor all day.

-You're queasy and pretty sure you would feel better if you ate something, but have so many food aversions that nothing sounds good.

-Friends are noticing something is different... (some even figure out the truth before your doctor can tell you for sure!) you are told you are glowing, but you think you look kind of blah.

-This video makes you weep uncontrollably:

-So does this book:

I have noticed some of these changes in myself lately, and that is to say... yes, Kathryn is going to be a big sister! The baby is due on November 8th. I am a little over 14 weeks now, and feeling great (finally). I started this post several weeks ago, but obviously waited a while to share the news. All of us are really excited! Kathryn especially loves to give my tummy hugs. I know she is going to be the most incredible big sister.

Lately she's really been into pretending to be Aladdin (and sometimes Princess Jasmine too). Here she is on a magic carpet ride. You kind of had to be there, but it was awesome.

Kate in the Box...

...sitting so still, will you come out?

Yes I will!!!

(Yes, that is our pop-up hamper.)

"It's a ponytail!"

She came up with this completely on her own. I thought it was pretty funny.

Thomas' #1 Fan

Kathryn's most beloved character for quite a while has been Thomas the tank engine. Grandma and Bops found the coolest train store ever- Caboose Hobbies- and had to bring her in to check it out. From what they tell me,

She. loved. it.
Look at that smile! They even got her a present to take home- Lady and the track!
Thanks, you guys!
