She has been walking really well for a few weeks. Slacker Mom is finally getting a video on the blog!

I just loved these pictures of us with baby Calvin (thanks, Amy!)... too bad Kathryn couldn't get too close- she had a little cough at the time. No worries though, they get to hang out often enough.
I warned his parents that the women in my family tend to go for younger men... look out!

Stir Crazy

Hurry spring, we're getting desperate!















Okay, maybe being stuck inside is kind of nice sometimes.

I'm serious. When I let her finger paint with the baby food, she actually said "mess". She hasn't said it since though. Has she SEEN this house lately?!? Maybe she's just being polite.

Her favorite word to say right now is "piddy". "Piddy, dis piddy" and so on. She says it when she takes her sock off and plays with her toes (as in "this little piggy..."). I think it is the cutest thing in the world! Her other new word is "wow!"- definitely a close second.

Oh no... she's almost outgrown these cute little shoes! I loved having her wear them.



Trying new foods... here's a mystery. Does anyone know what "bis" means? She says it all the time! There are quite a few things she says that I can actually make out, but this one has me stumped. The only clues I have are that she is always happy when she says it, and sometimes she points at people or things and says it. Any ideas?
