Apologies
I truly am sorry that I don't have time to keep up with the blog right now, our schedule is just full. Kathryn (at school "Kate") has started kindergarten and a 5+ class, she and Neevie are both in music classes, I am learning the sport of roller derby and have joined a MOPS group, and we drive across town anytime we have to be somewhere. We have a puppy who acts very much like a puppy. :/ I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Our computer also ran out of memory recently so I have been unable to upload new photos. I've ordered a new hard drive so that will be remedied very soon. I will try to get photos and some updates here in the next couple of weeks. :)
...in the meantime, facebook is a great place to see pics. I upload them from my phone every now and then!

One day I will post more than just these...
{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a
moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A
moment I want to pause, savor and remember.
Thanks, Kim!
(loved ones, we will be ordering and sending you pictures once we get the CD, but if you want certain shots or sizes, let me know.)

Santa Barbara Zoo
What's that mysterious hissing sound?
Kathryn read to us about all of the animals.
Her favorites were the vultures.
Neevie liked the snow leopards best.
The kids rode in style, courtesy of their beloved Aunties.
Last year we heard the lion's roar echoing from his indoor habitat.
We couldn't have been 50 feet away.
It was LOUD!
Rob played the fence bass- oh yes he did.
The kids had some especially special auntie time at the giraffes.
Aunt Pammie got into a game of peek-a-boo with a meerkat. Cute overload.
Completely normal. Totally normal.
This vulture (#33) raised and lowered its wings in rhythm like a hype-man for a hip hop artist.
We always enjoy our time together and seem to wear ourselves out laughing, so after all was said and seen, we all might looked just a little bit sleepy.

Equine quality time
Pharoah, Randy's magnificent horse
Lily, the little pony
"I'll take her!"
Focused on instructions
Getting excited
All saddled up
Here we go
Sometimes she wanted Lily to walk, and sometimes she gave the go ahead for a slow trot. We were out there for ages, and she couldn't get enough. Last year Shelly and Randy took Kathryn jet skiing. She said "This is the most fun I have EVER had!"
She said this was even better than that.
Shelly's
We had all sorts of fun at Aunt Shelly's.
Exploring the wonders of the pond
creating a tadpole habitat
splashing anywhere and everywhere
making music anywhere and everywhere
(and however did I not get a picture of the piano? oh, the piano. magical.)
Randy- the kids love him- heart of gold, and silly. Did I mention they love him?
Rob and Blaire- who I finally met. finally. Cute couple.
Kisses from Aunt Pammie- muuuuah!!!
