Remembering Abigail

(note- I will try to find some favorite pictures of Abigail to include soon.)

Our niece Abigail passed away this Sunday after suffering cardiac arrest last week. It is an unimaginable loss, and we are all devastated. She was beautiful in every way, and loved music and laughter. She possessed a joyful, gentle child-like spirit, that to which most can only aspire. She will be greatly, greatly missed, and always remembered and loved.

Rob the builder

Rob has been busy making our backyard a great place to hang out this summer. He built this table with instructions online- no kit. It is incredible.
He also built this play set for a grateful Kathryn and Christy, and an intrigued Neevie. Thanks, Daddy!

Worthless Reunion

Kathryn's first dip in a lake short lived, but seemingly torrential rain (followed by wind so intense I took no photos as I was trying to nurse Niamh, watch Kathryn, keep my stuff from blowing away and hold down my side of the tent- nothing like a relaxing weekend away!)snuggly girlsI missed the Twinkie eating contest, but beat the best ladies' time when I tried it later (no, you are not getting pictures). It took me 1 minute 49 seconds to eat 5 Twinkies, no pre-unwrapping. A few folks were trying to make me laugh or gag the whole time. The most disturbing part might be that it was easy and I felt just fine afterward.

Doggy Day Care 2: Who keeps letting these dogs out? It's really not easy to out-class the last worthless reunion, where we played horse shoes with toilet lids. Yet somehow, Uncle Kurt found a way in these drink-holder souvenirs.
little miss cutes
Uncle Rex- always sweet, innocent and incredibly good looking. Just ask him.

Elitche's

We have a season pass to Elitche's this year, and have already gone quite a few times. I'm amazed at how many rides Kathryn can go on! She is such a thrill-seeker and asks to go on the wilder rides over and over. She loves the water park too. I usually leave the camera at home, but Grandma and Bops came along so at least I got a few shots.
