She was such a brave girl and had her best stuffed friends with her. The doc. numbed her mouth and tried stitching her lip while she was awake, but K. was not a fan of that. They were going to give her an i.v. of stronger stuff, but fortunately (thank God) she wore herself out before they had it ready, and she slept through the stitches without the heavier meds. after all. They were meticulous and she should not have any scar from "the incident".
Prayers were said and answered, and this was such a reminder of how precious our little girl is to us.
Her stitches were removed yesterday, and she is looking much better (proof of ice cream's healing properties?).

Oh no! I bet that was scary for you all! No one likes to see their baby hurt. I'm glad to read that she's okay. :o) What a story for the baby book too.
