The Wizard of Oz is our BIG thing right now. Every day she wants to wear blue and white clothes and her "ruby slippers". She carries around "Totos" and baskets all day. She asks for the soundtrack in the car and at home. She acts out the different roles- her favorites being Dorothy, Miss Gulch, Glinda, the munchkins, and the lullaby league. She's seen bits and pieces of the movie a few times, and she just ran with those scenes. Mostly though, she asks us to tell her the story. again. and again. and again.
Here is just a small sampling- more to come!
Listen for when she changes her voice to be the munchkins echoing Glinda at the end.
Here she is singing the Miss Gulch theme, and then the song that plays as Toto jumps out of the basket and runs home to Dorothy- maybe her favorite part.
Listen for when she changes her voice to be the munchkins echoing Glinda at the end.
