We had a great visit with Rob's sister Jenny and her family from CA a couple of weeks ago. The kids were so creative (they even ran an entire restaurant inspired by Kathryn's play kitchen and helped us rescue toads from our window wells!). We introduced them to the hours of frustration and mind-stretching that Colorku, one of our favorite new games, can provide. I failed to take any photos- I was too busy helping Kathryn (Elmira) play gently with Skipper. You can read about their trip here though, and should definitely check out other columns by George.

In other news, they can see Mount Wilson from their house. We are sending fire-extinguishing thoughts their way, and hope the fires are put out soon!
