Manifest Destiny

Not much time.

She is crawling! She is fast.

She is getting into everything- opening drawers, pulling herself up to standing from couches, boxes, chairs, her crib- anything she can find.

She has more energy than I could ever dream of having.

The "old" toys are no longer cutting it. Mommy's and Daddy's tricks are no longer cutting it.

She knows there is something more.

This kid is on the MOVE and ready to take on the world.

This is Halloween... at the Myers' House!

Rob and I went to a party dressed as Bootsy Collins and Lady Miss Kier. If you're not sure who they are, check out the video and photo at the bottom. Thanks, Mom for making Rob's outfit, and to you and Dad for babysitting! We had sooooo much fun (as if you couldn't tell).

It's true.

The meaning of life, the universe and everything

...is not 42 after all.

No. It can be summed up in these two words:

BATH TIME

Everything from messy food smears and solid-food-sticky poops to plain old crankiness and boredom can be fixed with a little splashing in the tub.

I don't have much in my bag o' tricks so far, but it's so good to have one that almost always works.

The wonderful thing about Kathryns....

Is Kathryns are wonderful things!
Their tops are made out of rubber
Their bottoms are made out of springs!
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!
But the most wonderful thing about Kathryn is...
She's only just begun!

Creeping to get what she wants (e.g., PAPER!!!)

Pulling herself up... uh-oh!
