One

Here is our little Niamh at one year old. She is so sweet, happy and snuggly. She still loves music, baths and playing outside, squealing with excitement for these. Last night she was playing with the keyboard demo. She pushed the tempo button up until it was really fast, then head-banged/rocked out to it a little as she played along. She adores her sister and is tough and fast enough to keep up with whatever she does, even climbing the play set and going down the slide head first (I helped her go slowly, much to her dismay). People were concerned that Kathryn is a hard act to follow- and she is- but Niamh holds her own and is her own delightful person. She is easy going most of the time, but assertive. She is tiny but daring. She amazes me with how she will see someone do something only once, and then do it herself. New examples of this are drawing with a pen, putting on socks or shoes and dipping a cookie in milk before eating it.

She still playfully bites and pulls hair- we will work on that...

We absolutely can't imagine our life without her, and could not love her more.
