Elitche's
Summer is young, but we have already been to Elitche's several times. I am amazed by how many big-kid (42"+) rides Kathryn can ride. There will be more pictures to come throughout the summer, but here's a taste. It was Six Flags for a while (and felt very commercial and crowded), but is under new management, and I commend them for their efforts. They are trying to revive some of the nostalgic charm of the original, and I cautiously suggest it might be working.

Gator farm
Kathryn has been working hard making these "alligators" for Niamh.
Seriously, where does she come up with this stuff?

Our newest toy
Well, new to us anyway. It will actually be 100 years old when Niamh is five. It's a Knabe baby grand, and just what we all needed. It does take up a good portion of the living room, but I see that as a good thing. We will never again forget to make music. The bench needs work, so in the meantime we are using a stool and chair.

Lunny Park
Kathryn has a thing for L. names. Her dolls and animals right now are mostly named Lulu, Lalela, or some variation thereof. She has also named our backyard Lunny park. The girls love to play outside, and we are out here with popsicles (sometimes even ice cream!) almost every day.
We enjoy having visitors, and the girls are pretty good about sharing their toys, even with big kids.
