Well, it's been a huge couple of weeks! Not only has Kathryn been rolling across the floor, she has also been sitting up on her own for longer periods and has even learned how to make raspberries:

The best part has been seeing her emerging personality. She loves to laugh and to make us laugh. She honestly cracks us up all the time. What a kid!

New loves are:

Playing like it's going out of style

Drooling over her little Bumbo chair

The exersaucer

Doing everything her own way

Anything of Mommy's or Daddy's within reach

Using her feet to play

Snoozing

and of course... being cute!

She threw her first mini tantrum the other day. Looking for something different and fun for us to do, I let her crinkle up a piece of paper. She was really into it, but my mind started working overtime thinking of ways she could hurt herself, so I took it away. She whined. After a little consideration, I decided that with close supervision it would probably be okay, so I gave it back. She gummed it for a second, and off came some paper into her mouth! That was the end of that. I took it away and did not hear the end of it for a while. Oh well, this is the first of many times safety will get in the way of her good time.

Also, it is definitely not to her advantage that she is so darn cute when she's upset.

Pre-Season Football with Dad

It looks like she finds it about as exciting as Mommy does.

Maybe in a couple of years though, she'll be a Bronco-Maniac like Daddy and Grandma Rita!

(Editor's note: Yes, she went back to using a binky every now and then. She just doesn't like the Soothie variety anymore.)

Our little artiste

Very contemporary, don't you think?

Playing is hard work.

Here are some misc. pics from the last week or so. Good times! In case you're wondering about my sunburn, I left Kathryn with my parents and went to Water World with Rob, Jonathan and Samantha. It was as much fun as I remember it being years ago, maybe more. It rained that afternoon so a lot of people went home, which meant shorter lines for us. I felt like a giddy little kid (okay, maybe a high schooler) again, and I would love to make it an annual tradition. Well, on to the pictures!

Splish Splash!

Kathryn keeps us busy...

but things are great overall!
