I tried out our new Wii game Dance Party III while Rob was reading to the kids in another room, and I am a little surprised to report it is an absolute blast. I think they agree; they heard the music, jumped on the mat and completely took over.

I have accepted that Niamh climbs on and gets into just about everything. It's kind of her thing. I do help her down, but I just can't resist getting a photo first.

 

 

 

 

Midnight... and the kids should be sleeping

I told Kathryn right before bedtime that I would wake her up for the countdown, but of course she was so excited that she had trouble falling asleep. I eventually let her stay up (Niamh woke herself at the last minute), and we all enjoyed sparkling grape juice and t.v. specials together.

Snow day (finally!)

Decmber 31st, and only the second snow. The girls loved playing in it, and I'm sure this was just the first of many, many times this winter we will hear "Can we pleeEEEEase go outside?!?".
